What is ACCOR Cosmetic Corrector Plasma Pen Treatment?
This is a gentle alternative to skin tightening surgery. It is also effective in the reduction or removal of wrinkles and uneven surfaces, pigmentation and scars, and permanent make-up, skin tags and small tattoos. The combination of Plasma and NF+ Technology currently makes the Plasma Pen unique worldwide.

How Does this Treatment Work?
Without touching the skin, the pen creatives an ionised plasma arc which projects onto the skin surface. The plasma arc instantly vaporises a point of the skin at the required position, therefore tightening the immediate surrounding area.

Is this Treatment Painful?
This is an especially gentle and low pain procedure mainly due to the innovative numbing techniques taught to and used by the professionals at Secret Skin and Laser Clinic.
When the area has been `numbed`, clients should feel little discomfort during the procedure.
Following treatment, the area will feel the same as `mild sunburn`.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?
One treatment is enough for many people. However, some people may require 2-3 treatments depending on the severity of wrinkles/loose skin. Each treatment would be performed after 3 months. Your personal treatment plan can be discussed at your consultation.

Do I need to purchase any Aftercare products?
We provide an aftercare product to be used following treatment and will discuss the importance of the aftercare regime as part of your personal treatment.
We advise you to purchase an SPF 50 to be used for the first 3 months after treatment to protect your new skin. Heliocare SPF 50 is our recommendation, which is stocked at Secret Skin and Laser Clinic: See our Products Page for further information about Heliocare SPF 50.
You may also wish to purchase a small bottle of Micellar Water: A minimal amount of micellar water can be used on cotton wool to gently clean the area whilst the scabs are present.

How Soon Will I See the Results and Are the Results Permanent?
The procedure achieves incredible results immediately, although the results continue for up to 3 months after the treatment. The results are permanent, only diminishing with the natural ageing process.
Is there any Downtime Following Treatment?
There may be slight redness and swelling in the treated area and very small scabs will form which will naturally fall off between 4 to 14 days. We advise Heliocare Color SPF 50 or Bare Minerals Foundation as a cover-up foundation whilst the scabs are present.

Is this treatment suitable for me?
We offer a full, no obligation consultation with one of our fully trained Professionals at Secret Skin and Laser Clinic, where the treatment and its effects will be explained to you in detail and a personal treatment plan can be worked out for you. The importance of the aftercare regime will also be discussed.

Do I Require a patch test?
A patch test is recommended at least one week prior to treatment. A non-refundable payment of £25 is required for the patch test, however, this will be deducted from the full cost of your treatment price.
