What laser do you use?

The Soprano Ice Platinum differs from other lasers as it offers fast effective treatments which are more comfortable. A patch test can be carried out just 20 minutes prior to your first treatment.

The Soprano Ice Platinum is the only hair removal system that has 3 wavelength technology which means the treatment is more effective and painless. The third wavelength, The Yag, allows for the treatment of all skin types and tones; whether you have light, dark, or even sun tanned skin, course or fine hair, achieving complete and effective hair removal that is medically safe.

Is it really painless?

This is not IPL and we feel this is important that people understand the difference. IPL has single shot technology which hits the skin like an elastic band would. This process is then repeated continuously through the treatment. The Soprano Ice Platinum produces 10 shots per second onto the surface area of the hand piece which then glides over the skin resulting in a pain free treatment. We realise that many people have had negative experiences of hair removal treatments, for example painful, long treatments and unpredictable results and may now feel discouraged. However, the Soprano Ice Platinum has superior technology in this area and offers painless, fast and proven results. Its cool tip ensures that the surface of the skin is not damaged.

What preparation do I need to do before laser hair removal?

Before your first treatment you will need to have a patch test. This only takes a few minutes and is carried out on the area you are having treatment. This can be done on the same day as your first treatment as the patch test on a Soprano Ice Platinum can be carried out just 20 minutes before treatment. The only preparation you need to do before laser hair removal is to shave the areas being treated either the the night before or on the morning of your first appointment.
